Bow Hair Delivery

Dear Friends, Every six weeks, we receive a fresh delivery of our best Bow Hair products from our dressing facility in China.  These bundles are prepared specifically for our customers who demand the freshest tails, the sturdiest stock, the best dressed strands and the easiest to work with bundles.  As you may or may not know, we travel to China twice a year to make arrangements with our suppliers.   Our horse tail hair comes from animals that lived in cold climates such as Argentina, Inner Mongolia, Mongolia and Siberia.  We import the best quality bow hair on the market. Emily travels to the slaughterhouses in Harbin and Ulaanbaatar, to buy the tails directly. She has contracts with dressers in Tianjin and Anping to process the hair according to our customers demands.  The hair itself is well dressed.   All manner of bent, twisted, curly or tapered hairs are removed and recycled.   We regularly stock 32-33" bundles approximately 1.1 pounds each (500grams).   Bundles larger than 33" are special order and may take up to 8 weeks to process.  We accept no returns on bundles larger than 33" because they are very expensive and difficult to acquire in such high quality as we demand! We provide well dressed bow hair to the top violin shops in New York, Boston, Chicago, Portland, Atlanta, Seoul, Frankfurt, London, Dublin, Montreal and Toronto, as well as individual luthiers and bow makers all over the world.
